Warner Mechanical plays pivotal role in opening Clarke County, VA’s first new high school in over 20 years.
Warner Mechanical worked closely with General Contractor Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. and Construction Manager Gannett Fleming, Inc. in order to deliver the new school on time for the planned 2012 opening. The new high school is approximately 140,000 square feet of space and includes specialized laboratory space, media center, gymnasium, and computer lab instruction areas.
In addition to the specialized waste piping for the science labs, Warner Mechanical provided all HVAC and plumbing installation services, as well as coordinated multiple subcontractors, including insulation, duct work, controls, test and balance, and commissioning. According to the Construction Manager, “[their] ability to plan and lead the workforce was a driving factor in the timely completion of this project.”
