Spring Mills Elementary Earns LEED Gold Designation
Warner Construction, working in conjunction with project architect Williamson Shriver Architects, Inc. has earned another LEED building designation that has exceeded the initial expectations.
Following up on their LEED Platinum success on the Olde Towne Youth Center in Gaithersburg, MD, Warner Construction was instructed to achieve LEED Silver designation. The construction team and architect worked hand in hand to identify and implement opportunities to incorporate design features that contributed to substantial reductions in energy, lighting, water, material use, and other sustainable strategies. With careful documentation of all of their efforts, the building achieved LEED Gold accreditation and is the first new building in West Virginia to achieve that level. Once again, Warner Construction delivered over and above expectations.
